The American Equity Underwriters, Inc. (AEU) is pleased to announce the purchase of its former joint venture company American Equity Risk Services, LLC (AERS).  Effective September 1, 2012, AERS became a 100% wholly owned subsidiary of AEU.  There will be no change in the operations of AERS and they will continue to offer state of the art workers’ compensation claims services to the members of the American Longshore Mutual Association, Ltd. (ALMA) from the AERS offices in Metairie, LA as well as from other locations around the country.
